Psy¡¯s eyes widened as the Milotic started to approach the island. There were rumors of Oran hosting more than 500 pokemon but never did she imagine it so large. It was more than triple what she had thought in her mind. A medley of pokemon cries permeated the air. It wasn¡¯t long when they started to approach the beach. The Milotic swam as close to the coast as he could while being able to swim back with the tide. She leapt of his back and into the water, which thankfully only reached ankle level. Thanking the kind Milotic for the trip, she watched as he swam back into the depths of the sea. Psy turned around to gaze at her awaiting fate, she just watched. Was this the right choice? Of course she never has to worry about another trainer replacing Tsuki, but never will she feel the warmth that only a human being can give. She shook her head; she needed to place that behind her now. Gingerly she took her first steps onto the beach. What about food? Her light blue eyes widened dramatically as the horrifying thought hit her. Sure she was able to survive in the wild for a year but it was the leftovers in trash cans or stealing that kept her sustained. ¡°Maybe this wasn¡¯t such a good idea,¡± she murmured to herself. Just as she started to doubt herself, she saw a gleam of light below her. She looked down to see the Pale Sphere on her collar catching the light. The image of Tsuki flashed before her eyes. With determined eyes she marched onto the trail before her. She needed this place, it was the only place she can remain safe from other trainers. There wasn't a threat of another trainer taking over Tsuki's role. As she finally reached the beach she grimaced at how the dry sand clung to her wet paws. Psy sat down to groom her paws but she caught sight of movement beside her. Whipping her head to the side, she saw possibly the largest Arcanine she had ever seen in her life. Her body froze. She was at such a low level to not even stand a chance if he should challenge her to a battle. ¡°Umm¡hello?¡± Psy carefully greeted the canine pokemon.

B L A Z E the A R C A N I N E It was a typical day, but Blaze had been unlisted to do an atypical task that never fell to him. Mostly it was because the sight of his face as the first to see for travelers, weary but eager to arrive to their new home. Well, seeing his cold and grumpy disposition was not the welcoming party they expected. Nevertheless, Thunder had prompted him to go and with much reluctance, although he knew he could not refuse her. The Arcanine forced himself, trudging with his heavy paws and jaws clenched toward the docks.
Every few days, there would be a new party of Pokemon arriving within hours of each other. Some came on their own, hungry and exhausted from swimming for so long. Others were frustrated with the ocean, but had acquired help from the water Pokemon that the six along with Blaze had made friends with. They often helped to bring newcomers to the island, for they found it to be their sanctuary as well. Nevertheless, it took a few days for them to get here with the Wingulls flying to bring in messages of sightings or arrivals coming. Thunder or Scale would organize a party to greet them and in this fair weather, most of them would have came save for Blaze who hated to attend to them. But everyone was busy and Blaze, who had saved the sunny day to tend and turn the soil in his garden patch was forced to sacrifice his day of leisure in order to greet new Pokemon.
Blaze had a good heart, but he hid it behind many masks and many chains. But it was easy to find something to pierce through the fort, to find the scared beating heart and poke it sharply. Most of the time, it was from these newcomers who hadn't learned to be silent beside Blaze. He didn't want to hear their history, he did not want to hear their sob stories or of their grand escape. He just wanted to introduce them and let them live out peacefully, they could have their own adventures. They could have their own fun, as long as they left the Arcanine out of it.
He couldn't have fun anymore lest it be on his own or in the rare few times that Thunder or the other six were available. No, it was far too painful to play. It was even more painful for him to listen to the new Pokemon talk of their trainers, of good trainers or of bad trainers. Every single mention of them brought him back horrible memories of his own and his betrayal. Blaze hated himself for the betrayal, but he would have done it a million times over even with a thousand tons more guilt as long as it kept his team mates safe and happy. Even if it meant, that he would never be happy himself.
He grunted to himself, wiping away all the sadness that had begun to appear in his golden eyes. There was no point in it, there was no point in lingering or letting it show. It was useless, it was fatal. It would kill him if he thought any more of it. Suddenly, the needed distraction came into view as a Milotic shuffled onto shore and an Espeon arrived. It was rare to see an Espeon, purple was not only a rare color here in the lush green island. But to see an evolved Pokemon was rare, she had had a trainer for sure. But hopefully, she wouldn't talk of him or her. Or whoever it was. Blaze didn't have an open ear available. He watched solemnly as she leapt into the shallow waves, gingerly taking steps onto the beach where her light figure barely made indents in the sand. The Pokemon looked ridiculous for a hilarious expression crossed her face, as if she'd taken the wrong step on the wrong island. Or something or another. She spoke to herself before determinedly charging up the beach toward the forest.
Blaze sat in the grass, hunched over and watching her. Looking more like a predator then a greeting party, but he lightened the dark glare and managed to replace his grumpiness with a stoic blankness. It was the best he could do. Smiles were no longer a part of his expressions. However, the petite feline failed to notice him as she suddenly flopped down and began to groom herself. Blaze sighed, exasperated for he hardly wanted to make the effort. But to save a frown from one of the six's faces, he lugged himself onto his massive paws and approached her with his tail curled atop his back. His soft pads seemed to distribute his weight evenly, not only hiding his bulk of sound but hiding his presence as well.
It wasn't until she happened to lick the right spot, that the Espeon noticed him. She was startled but managed to compose herself enough to greet him, "Umm hello?". He licked his lips, looked to the side before concentrating on her. His voice seemed automatic, as if rehearsed as Blaze greeted her. "I am Blaze, one of the original six. Welcome to Oran. This sanctuary will attend to all your needs and if you seek assistance, feel free to ask one of the other Pokemon where one of the other five are. They will help you. Welcome and enjoy your stay." It was a stupid speech, but Heart had helped him because she insisted that it be nice and welcoming as well as explain a little. Nevertheless, Blaze had done what he needed to do. He dipped his head in greet and perhaps good bye as well, and swiftly turned around to leave. Good riddance, he was done. It was someone else's turn. But customary to the Arcanine's behavior, he made sure that his leaving did not seem like hasty retreat. So loping back to the shadow of the forest, seemed more like a lazy drag to the shade.
ooc: Oh Blazy. <3

She relaxed her body. The Arcanine wasn¡¯t going to attack her. Psy stood to her feel as the bigger pokemon graced her with his presence. His body stance instantly demanded respect. He was rather intimidating though. Not on due to his large size but an aura that emitted from his being. His glaring eyes, the frown on his muzzle; he seemed like a very grim pokemon. Weren¡¯t all Arcanines supposed to be energetic and friendly? Oh well, it wasn¡¯t her business to judge a person. Also judging by his body language, Psy could tell he would want to be anywhere else but here. She blinked her eyes up at him with her curious blue eyes. Why was he here then? His paws were enormous, a single paw must have been four times bigger than all of hers put together; Espeons were known for their slender shapes though. He did have a beautiful coat, considering he must have lived on this island for some time. She watched as it swayed in the breeze that would caress his body. His size is what intimidated her the most but the muscle underneath his fur added to the illusion of a size and power. Like all canine pokemon, his jaw was very prominent. He had a very strong jaw and the fangs protruding from his muzzle did not help in relaxing her. Psy shuddered; never did she want to brawl with this pokemon. Not only would he win in a heartbeat but he could very much snap her in two with a single bite. Psy debated with herself about leaving the presence of the frightening canine. She then met eyes with the Arcanine. They were cold. But being an Espeon, she knew that there were more below what we show on the surface. She studied him. Though his eyes were cold, she felt a sense of deep sorrow. He then went on to a speech about welcoming her to the island. What was The Six? When she was able to slight focus on reality she realized he had given her his name. Blaze? It did suite the pokemon well. As soon as he finished the speech, he began to retreat back into the forest. With her ever curious feline personality, she began to follow him. Psy looked down to see his paw print imprinted onto the sand. Curiously she placed her own paw into the print to find that indeed it was much larger than her own dainty foot. Looking up, she found him already a ways in front of her. With her speed and agility she dashed to his side before stalking to his front. Psy narrowed her eyes as she focused her gaze into his hard eyes once more. ¡°Your eyes are very sad,¡± she said softly to the canine pokemon.

B L A Z E the A R C A N I N E Blaze could feel her blue eyes coursing down his back, chilling his spine and beckoning him back. The massive Pokemon didn't really want to, but he found it inevitable. She was moving towards him, that much was obvious. He could hear her delicate figure pouncing behind him, the crunch of the sand. His triangular ears were pitched back, pinned against his thick mane to hear her approaching him. Disturbed, but not willing to be rude. Blaze paused and allowed her to reach him. She darted in front of him and the Arcanine wondered about how such a small figure could survive the waters. Well, she had help but mostly it was the peace that the oceans gave her. When the six had come, the sea had not been so kind however it still allowed them passage. Still, he was not particular fond of it.
The purple Pokemon strode in front of him, forcing him to completely come to a stop. Narrowing his golden eyes, he lowered his tail and watched her. Pursing his lips, he ran his tongue along the inside roof of his mouth, waiting. She was looking into his eyes, as if trying to search for something. It concerned him and his heart pounded a little faster, what if she found something? Hastily, he tried to hide as much as he could. But a stoic face only had so much to keep secret, this was the best Blaze could do and it would have to suffice. Nevertheless, the Espeon seemed to find something and she seemed quite positive that it was her business. "Your eyes are very sad." Her voice was gentle and although it was a gesture of perhaps helpfulness, he wanted nothing of it. Grunting, he rolled back his shoulders and flexed his muscles.
Rolling his eyes, he lowered his large head and got to her eye level, looking her clearly in her blue eyes. "And your prying is quite annoying, miss. Now please, go enjoy yourself and leave me to my "sad eyes"." Blaze managed sarcasm although he didn't like it, it was too much feeling but it was his only defense for she seemed to insist on knowing. But he would not be willing to speak. Determination meant little to him, he had based his entire life determined to impress his master and make him love him. but that had done little, so it wasn't going to work on Blaze. He was far too hurt behind his wall of stone.
ooc: short.

Blaze rolled his eyes as he lowered his face until he was looking at har level. Psy's narrowed her eyes as her long ears flattened to her skull. The fur on her back bristled unintentionally, her body's natural reaction to tell him not to try anything funny. She knew by his tone that he was very appreciative of her analysis. Psy knew that it wasn't really her business to involve her self into his issued. A warm feeling, however, was was encouraging her to continue. Her natural telekenetic powers allowing her to be able to see more into him. For a brief moment her eyes flashed a lighter of pink before returning to their normal blue hue. A sad look adorned her face as she turned away from his face. The Arcanine suffered the same ailment as she. Her ears dropped, not defensive, but in sadness as she turned her gaze toward his again. "It feels as if your heart has been seeded by leech seed," she mumbled, more to herself than anything, "you feel it drain you but, instead of healing it, you harden yourself to quell the effects...but even now you still feel it drain you little by little until one day you're all used up..." To Psy it was more than sad, devastating would even been an understatement. Her large blue eyes gleamed with unshed tears as she tried to understand why he would do this to himself. It had also affected her so easily because it struck near home. Psy shut her eyes in order to force the tears back. Taking a deep breath she sat down on her haunches and looked toward the ground before his feet. "The unwillingness is hard," she shook her head. ((god, I made Psy so awkward and nosey))
